How to play Lambda
- 1
Get a spectrum
Each round, one player is the clue giver. They see a spectrum like “Smells good ↔ Smells bad” and a secret target on it.
- 2
Give a clue
The clue giver writes something that sits right at the target — like “fresh bread” for a target near Smells good.
- 3
Guess
Everyone else slides the dial to where they think the target is, then locks it in.
- 4
Score
A bullseye scores 4, close guesses 3, 2, or 1. The clue giver scores as much as the best guess, so make it a good clue!
Tips
- There's no wrong clue — just more or less helpful ones.
- In team mode, each team scores once, on the average of its members' guesses. The clue giver scores as much as the best team.
